Gynaecology by Ten Teachers

Editors: Stuart Campbell and Ash Monga

Just like its sister book Obstetrics by Ten Teachers, this is a well produced, fresh and well illustrated book. The primary audience is likely to be medical students and I am sure many postgraduates will recognise the name of this series. However this book is an ideal reference source for the busy average GP who wants a rapid summary of a clinical situation.

Though it is a slim volume, numbering less than 300 pages, it does the cover field of gynaecology in a surprisingly comprehensive manner, in enough detail to satisfy (and refresh) GPs, their registrars and other members of the primary care team. Even better it is competitively priced, makes good use of colour throughout the text and has some good quality illustrations. This is a basic text but good enough to add to the practice library as an assistant for everyday primary care gynaecology. An excellent companion to its sister Obstetrics title.
